I am very excited to be back in Lenox! I grew up just south of town, and I had a wonderful experience at Lenox Community Schools. I came back to the community to continue the experience that I had in Lenox with more students. 

After graduating from Lenox, I attended Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, Missouri. I pursued a degree in Elementary Education. I thoroughly enjoyed Northwest; it was a wonderful school to choose for education. I graduated with a major in Elementary Education, minor in Early Childhood Education, and also obtained an Iowa Reading Endorsement. I student taught in Clarinda, Iowa, and then I worked as a 4th grade teacher in the district. I also coached the Clarinda Color Guard for 5 years. 

Next, I became a student at Morningside College in Sioux City, and I earned my Talented and Gifted endorsement. Now, I am teaching Talented and Gifted Education, Title Math, and Title Reading  here in Lenox! I am also coaching high school bowling. 

I currently live in Maryville, but as soon as my fiance, Cole, finishes school at Northwest, we plan to relocate back to the Lenox area. More exciting news... we are getting married next June!
